Bimoji Fude Pen

“Bimoji” is a Japanese term that means “beautiful writing.”

These pens are designed with an ergonomic, brush-like body that mimics the look and feel of traditional calligraphy brushes. The durable and flexible tips offer precise control over line thickness—perfect for both delicate strokes and bold, expressive lines, depending on pressure. The water-based pigment ink is waterproof once dry.

Ideal for calligraphy and advanced linework in drawing, the Kuretake Bimoji series includes five types of pens with varying tip softness (four felt tips and one bristle tip). The longer and softer the tip, the greater the expressive potential—but also the higher the level of challenge.
